Tamara Jansen is originally from a picturesque republic of Bashkortostan, Urals in Russia.

Since she was a child she has been fascinated with nature how water flows, how wind blows, how fire moves and the patterns they create. So visually art has been a part of her entire life. Tamara feels blessed that they decided to come to live in New Zealand - beautiful New Zealand sparked her own creativity. She has worked with many different mediums in her art and loves all of them.

Tamara likes to add texture and elements into her pieces as it makes them take on a whole new form.

She uses mixed mediums, sometimes multi-layered to create textured 3-dimensional works on canvasses and boards. Tamara’s personal preference is colourfulness and this collection is based on this vision. Forget the demure, these creations burst with texture, energy and life!

Tamara’s art allows you to explore movement and depth and will leave a dramatic statement on anybody's wall. She would like collectors to see the beauty in her work and for it to take them to another place of newness and revisit the child like joy of being surprised!
